Cristiano Ronaldo still believes that Real Madrid will win La Liga despite losing the El Clasico 4-3 to Barcelona, and also had some harsh words for referee Undiano Mallenco.
The Portuguese superstar is adamant that the Catalan giants were favoured by Mallenco describing it as ‘playing against 12’.
"Undiano Mallenco is not suitable for games like this. We were playing against 12. It's always the same. It's like they don't want us to win and wanted Barcelona back in the title race," Ronaldo told reporters
"I am not looking for excuses, but I don't want to stay quiet on this. The referee was not at the required level for a big game like this.”
"I have been here for five years now and I know how things work. If Barcelona had lost, they would have been out of the title race. I have never seen Real Madrid being favoured by the referees."
Ronaldo though remains confident that his side will still go on to win the La Liga title despite the setback which now leaves them behind neighbours Atletico on the table.
"Regardless of all that happened, Madrid will still win La Liga," the former Manchester United player concluded.
