Goals from Darren Fletcher and Maroune Fellaini secured a 2-1 win for Manchester United over Valencia in their final pre-season game at Old Trafford.
Louis Van Gaal gave a home debut to Ander Herrera, as the Red Devils ended their pre-season with another victory.
Both sides got off to a slow start, despite Van Gaal's men seeing a lot of the possession, with the likes of Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Darren Fletcher linking up well.
United were presented with the opportunity to take the lead, after Wayne Rooney was brought down in the box, however, United's number 10 failed to beat Diego Alves from the penalty spot, as the keeper pushed the effort onto the upright.
However, the hosts started the stronger of the two in the second half, and took the lead three minutes after the restart, through Darren Fletcher's deflected effort from the edge of the box.
Both managers rang the changes in midway through half, and it was Valencia's changes who paid off, as mix up in by Tom Cleverley and Herrera gifted the ball to Rodrigo, who made no mistake from close range.
Valencia should have taken the lead three minutes later, but substitute Pablo Piatti blasted wide of the target from point-blank range.
David De Gea was called into action in the 82nd minute, as he pulled off a fine double save to keep United in the game.
The game looked certain end all square, until Maroune Fellaini popped up with the last kick of the game to finish into an empty net.
