Gary Cahill brought the host level in the 54th minute, the defender headed into an empty net, after Demba Ba's effort was saved by Boruc.
In the 62nd minute, Captain John Terry put the home side ahead after heading in a cross from Mata.
Ba nearly made it three for Chelsea in the 72nd minute, the Senegalese's low strike went just wide of the post.
Ba sealed the victory in the 90th minute, the striker finished from close range after being played through by Ramires.
