Shakhtar Donetsk 4 – 0 Real Sociedad: Douglas Costa scored a second-half brace to lead Shakhtar Donetsk to a 4-0 win over Real Sociedad at the Donbass Arena, ending their hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League on Wednesday. Goals by Luiz Adriano and Alex Teixeira wrapped up the result for the Ukrainian side and moved them up to second place in Group A. The loss for Sociedad means the Spanish side will end the group-stages at the bottom of the group.

Juventus 3 – 1 FC Copenhagen: ChileinternationalArturo Vidal scored a hat-trick to keep Juventus slim chances of qualifying for the knock-out phase of the Champions League alive in their 3-1 win over FC Copenhagen. In the 28th minute Andrea Pirlo's ball into the box was handled by Lars Jacobsen and Vidal stepped up to open the scoring from the spot. Former Juve defender Olof Mellberg grabbed an equaliser against his former club with a header in the 56th minute to make it 1-1. Vidal then scored on the hour break to give Antonio Conte’s men the lead once more, before slotting home his second penalty and third goal in the 63rd minute.

Anderlecht 2 – 3 Benfica: Substitute Rodrigo scored a 90th-minute winner as Benfica beat Anderlecht 3-2 in this Champions League five goal thriller. Chancel Mbemba opened the scoring in the 18th minute for the hosts but Nemanja Matic levelled matter in the 34th. Mbemba then handed the Portuguese visitors the lead eight minutes into the second-half with an own-goal. Massimo Bruno levelled again in the 77th minute befor Rodrigo sealed the points for Benfica in the final minute of play.

Paris Saint-Germain 2 – 1 Olympiakos: Paris St Germain made sure of their place in the last 16 of the Champions League as winners of Group C after earning a 2-1 win over Olympiakos. Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his eight Champions League goal of the campaign in the seventh minute, before the hosts had midfielder Marco Verratti sent off.  Kostas Manolas then scored against the 10 men of PSG to equalise, before Edinson Cavani beat the offside trap in the final minute to fire beyond Roberto in goal, and secure their spot at the top of the group.
