Edinson Cavani has hinted that he will consider leaving Napoli at the end of the season.
The Serie A club has been playing hardball over Cavani’s services ever since he blossomed into one of European club football’s top strikers.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted that Napoli will do whatever it takes to keep the 26-year-old Uruguayan international, who has scored 29 goals in 36 appearances this season.
He says only £60 million will lubricate any movement for Cavani, and until now, the player himself has gone on record to suggest he will remain in Naples.
However, with Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid all linked to Cavani in recent months, it seems he has come around to the thought of playing his football elsewhere in the future.
"I feel good at Napoli, but in football there are many things to be put in consideration," Cavani said.
"I can only say I'll give the best for this jersey until the last day I'll wear it."
Is Cavani worth the mega millions required to sign him, and which team would he strengthen consequently?
