Former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti, who has been heavily linked as Arsene Wenger's replacement at Arsenal, is reportedly on the verge of returning to management.

According to The Sun, the 58-year-old, who is considered by many to be one of the leading candidates to take over at the London side, has been offered the Italy national team job.
The Italian Football Federation are understood to have asked Ancelotti to take over the Azzurri after they failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and reports suggest that a deal is close.
There are claims the former Paris Saint-Germain boss has been offered a two-year deal to manage his country, but no wage has been agreed just yet.
