Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has admitted he doesn’t know whether Angel Di Maria has decided to leave the club this summer.
The Italian confirmed in his pre-match press conference for Tuesday’s Supercopa match against Atletico that Di Maria could feature for the Los Blancos, but he doesn't know whether Argentina will stay at Bernabeu.
"I don't want to enter into this theme so I don't lose focus on tomorrow's game,” he said.
“Di Maria is available like all the others. He may or may not start the game and has opportunities, but like everyone else,” Ancelotti said ahead of the Super Cup final.
"What I won't do is put out the same team in both legs. One team will play tomorrow and on Friday I will change it a little.
"I don't know what Di Maria has decided. But I know that he's training and that he could help us in tomorrow's match.
“Until August 31 it will continue the same way and after that everything will be cleared up and things will return to normal."
Di Maria has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and media reports today suggest the Red Devils are willing to spend up to £100 million in wages and transfer fee on the 26-year-old.
