CAF World Cup Qualifying Round-Up

Equatorial Guinea 1-1 Tunisia: The Tunisians moved into the final round of qualifying thanks to a 1-1 draw away to Equatorial Guinea. Juvenal Edjogo-Owono opened the scoring but Oussama Darragi secured a share of the spoils as Tunia moved out of sight in the group.

Guinea 2-0 Zimbabwe: With both sides already out of qualifying, Guinea were playing for pride at home and ran out 2-0 winners. The Warriors had endured a difficult journey to Conakry due to financial problems and were sunk by a double from Mohamed Yattara.

Mozambique 0-1 Egypt: The Pharaohs confirmed their place in the next round of qualifying by continuing their unbeaten run with a narrow triumph in Mozambique. Mohamed Salah was on target for the visitors.

Rwanda 0-1 Algeria: Saphir Sliti struck in the 52nd minute as the Fennec Foxes held their lead at the top of Group H and later celebrated their progress to the next round after Mali drew.

Mali 2-2 Benin: The visitors twice took the lead through Stephane Sessegnon and Razak Omotoyossi while the Eagles hit back through Mamadou Samassa and Cheick Tidane Diabate but a draw was not enough for the home side.
