The draw for the Caf playoffs for African teams hoping to play at next year’s World Cup in Brazil has taken place.
The matches will be played over two legs, with the aggregate winners securing passage to Brazil.
Some spicy match-ups have come out of the hat!
West African giants Ivory Coast will play their under-achieving neighbours Senegal.
The Black Stars of Ghana will play North African heavyweights Egypt.
African champions Nigeria will play Ethiopia, who finished about South Africa in their qualifying group.
Tunisia, who made it into the playoffs after Cape Verde were thrown out for fielding an ineligible player, will take on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
And Burkina Faso will play Algeria, who contested arguably the most boring match in the history of the World Cup, against England in Cape Town in 2010.
