Flum then redeemed himself by scoring at the right end before a Joselu brace turned the game on its head, giving Frankfurt the lead. Benedikt Howedes had the final say when he equalised in the 86th minute, to earn a point in this entertaining match up.
FC Augsburg 2-0 TSG Hoffenheim: A first-half brace by Halil Altintop was enough to give Augsburg a deserved three points at home. The midfielder scored in the 17th minute to give the hosts the lead before he grabbed a second goal of the game six minutes later to wrap up all three points.
Hertha Berlin 0-1 Bayer Leverkusen: Sami Hyypia's Bayer Leverkusen kept up the pressure on Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund with a 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin at the Olympiastadion. A solitary goal by 2012 top goal scorer Stefan Kießling in the 28th minute was enough to give Leverkusen a first win over the capital club in six years.
Nurnberg 1-1 VfL Wolfsburg: Maximilian Arnold gave Wolfsburg the lead after 39 minutes but Daniel Ginczek equalised in the 72nd minute for the hosts. The point leaves Nurnberg winless but moved the strugglers out of last place with eight points to rise to 17th.
TSV Eintracht Braunschweig 0-1 SC Freiburg: Gelson Fernandes handed Freiburg all three points with the winning goal in the 52nd minute, to hand Freiburg only their second Bundesliga victory of the season. The win moved the visitors up to 16th place on the log and relegated Eintracht to the bottom of the table.
