Borussia Dortmund claimed their first win of the season, after they defeated FC Augsburg 3-2 at the SGL Arena.
Marco Reus got Dortmund off to the perfect start in the 11th minute slotting a left-footed effort into the bottom corner with his first shot of the game.
Two minutes later and the lead was doubled, as Sokratis popped up to head home Reus' delightful cross.
While, Augsburg goalkeeper, Marvin Hitz , did well to keep his side in it in the first, denying Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Dortmund saw out the rest of the half with ease and look full value for their 2-0 lead.
The visitors eventually doubled their lead in the 78th minute, substitute Adrian Ramos slotted home to increase their advantage.
However, there was a late comeback in the closing 10 minutes from the home side, Raul Bobadilla reduced the deficit to two in the 82nd minute.
While, Tim Matavz, made it 3-2 in the 90th minute with a clinical strike, but it was too little too late as Jurgen Klopp's men managed to hold on for the win.
