Bradford Book Final Spot

Bradford will face either Chelsea or Swansea City in the final of the Capital One Cup after edging Aston Villa 4-3 on aggregate.

The League Two minnows went down 2-1 at Villa Park on Tuesday night but it was enough to see them through following their shock 3-1 victory in the first leg.

It is the first time in over 50 years a fourth tier side has reached the final hurdle of the competition.

Villa dominated the first-half, and deservedly took the lead when Christian Benteke flicked in Joe Bennett's cross in the 24th minute.

The Bantams hit back after the break, as James Hanson headed home in the 54th minute.

Andreas Weimann netted an 89th minute goal for the Villans but the visitors held on to book their spot at Wembley.

The Blues will tackle the Swans at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday, with Rafa Benitez's men trailing 2-0 from the opening duel at Stamford Bridge.
