Middlesbrough beat Doncaster Rovers 4-0 on Friday night, in an English Championship match at the Riverside Stadium.
Both of Doncaster's South Africans, Bongani Khumalo and Dean Furman, were in the starting eleven for the match tonight, but could do nothing to stop the defeat.
There were early chances for both sides, as first Mustapha Carayol just shot wide for Middlesbrough in the 5th minute, and seconds later James Coppinger had a chance for Rovers, but his attempt missed to the left.
Middlesbrough went 1-0 up in the 9th minute, as Kei Kamara played Albert Adomah in, who shot from just outside the box, and it sailed into the top right corner.
Middlesbrough had another chance in the 18th minute, but this time Carayol shot straight at Ross Turnbull in the Rovers' goal.
Adomah made it 2-0 in 36th minute when he headed in Richard Smallwood's cross.
Just before half-time, Rovers came close from a corner but the ball just couldn't find Bongani Khumalo or Rob Jones, who had come forward.
Dean Furman had a chance for Rovers in the 59th minute, but his shot was blocked.
Boro went 3-0 up in the 68th minute when the ball reached Kamara in the six yard box, and he blasted home.
Furman was replaced in the 75th minute.
Rovers came close to scoring in the 80th minute, but Chris Brown's header hit the post and was cleared.
But Middlesbrough weren't finished, and debutant Daniel Ayala rose up at a corner in the 82nd minute to head in powerfully and make it 4-0.
