Napoli coach Rafa Benitez got off to a winning start as his side romped to a 5-1 win over FeralpiSalo on Saturday.
The former Inter Milan, Chelsea and Liverpool boss saw Davide Bariti, Blerim Dzemaili, Soma Novothny and an Emanuele Calaio (double) hit the target against the third-tier side.
Benitez admits that it was a positive start for the team and he feels that his players stuck to the game plan, though he revealed that there are some things that they must still improve upon.
"It is a positive debut in our first pre-season friendly,” he told the club's official website.
"We did what we wanted to on the field, those things that we practiced during the week in training."
"In general we did good things and others that we can still improve on. We’re happy to have scored five goals and played with intensity after a week of double training sessions."
