Barcelona scored three goals in the opening 23 minutes at the Nou Camp, in an emphatic 4-1 win against Real Sociedad.
The hosts go three points clear at the top of La Liga for the time being and looked comfortable the entire 90 minutes against the visitors, to make it six wins from six games in the top flight this season.
The Catalan giants could well have scored seven or eight against inexperienced opposition, as Sociedad manager Jagoba Arrasate made seven changes to his side, while Gerardo Martino continued his squad rotation policy with four changes to his weekend starting line-up.
Brazilian wonder kid Neymar opened the scoring in the fifth minute with his first league goal, having only scored once before in the Spanish Supercopa against Atlético Madrid.
Argentine super star Lionel Messi then got on the score sheet three minutes later with a diving header in the eight minute.
Sergio Busquets found the net in the 23rd minute scoring the pick of the bunch with a well-taken half volley before De La Bella pulled a goal back late on for the visitors.
Substitute Bartra then restored the three goal advantage in the 77th minute scoring from close range following a mazy run into the penalty area by Messi, as Barca ran out easy winners taking Martino’s momentarily to the top of the table.
