Angel Di Maria nearly put the host in front in the 6th minute, the winger's volley from outside the box was kept out by the upright.
Di Maria had another opportunity to open the scoring in the 29th minute, after latching onto a pass from Isco, the Argentine's low srtike was palmed away by Diego Marino.
Gareth Bale opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, after Marino deflected Di Maria's cross into the path of Bale and the winger headed into an empty net.
Karim Benzema doubled Madrid's lead in 35th minute, the Frenchman headed home, following Bale’s cross from the right.
Gareth Bale got his second of the night in the 63rd minute, the winger slotting home from inside the box after Jesus Reuda deflected the ball into Bale's path.
Bale completed his hattrick in the 89th minute,after Marcelo's low cross found the Welshman, who finished from close range.
