Bacary Sagna has insisted that he has not reached any official deal with Manchester City yet.
However, the 31-year-old Arsenal full-back told French television that his future will be decided before the World Cup.
"Have I already signed a contract with Manchester City? No, that is not true," Sagna told Telefoot.
"My situation will be sorted out before the World Cup, but I haven't signed for anyone so far.
"We all have our own destiny and I will try to find mine."
Sagna made 172 appearances for Arsenal between 2009 and 2014, but his contract with the Gunners is set to expire and he has been linked with several major Premier League clubs.
It was speculated that Manchester City would be offering Sagna at least £120,000 (R 2.1 million) weekly.
