Chelsea striker Demba Ba admits he is unhappy to have been dropped from the Senegal squad for their World Cup qualifiers this month.
Alain Giresse's men face Angola on June 8 and Liberia one week later, but Ba will not be playing.
Ba missed a penalty in his last appearance for Senegal, and Giresse has now opted to go without him.
"I am disappointed not to be called up, I want to play for my country and to be left out is painful," Ba told Sky Sports.
"I hope one day to tell the truth to the people of Senegal. I will always support anyone giving his sweat for the country."
Senegal are currently top of their World Cup qualifying group with five points. Liberia are second with four points, while Angola are third with two points and Uganda prop up the group with two points as well.
