Atletico Madrid president, Enrique Cerezo, claims that Borussia Dortmund winger, Marco Reus, has turned down an ‘offer for a lot of money’ to join Manchester United this summer.
Cerezo was responding to questions about his own club’s reported interest in Reus during a radio interview with Onda Cero and suggested Reus is another Germany star, who snubbed the Red Devils.
"I don't know where the Marco Reus rumour came from. It's a player who, at this time, is impossible to us," he said.
"Look, he had an offer for a lot of money from Manchester United and he has not gone. We will not sign him with a lesser offer."
Reus’ Germany teammate, Thomas Muller, revealed today he snubbed Manchester United this summer as Louis van Gaal is still in the hunt for his stellar signing.
The new Manchester United boss wants to add wingers to his squad before the end of this transfer window, with Angel di Maria and Juan Cuadrado the hottest names linked to Old Trafford.
