Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is reportedly close to sign a new contract with the Gunners.
Wenger’s current contract was set to expire but the BBC reports on Thursday that the Frenchman has agreed new terms with Arsenal.
BBC's David Ornstein reports Wenger's new contract will be signed in the next few days, possibly as early as Saturday
The 64-year-old has been at the helm at the Emirates since 1996 and guided Arsenal for more than 1000 games.
Just two weeks ago he has ended a nine-year trophy drought by winning the FA Cup.
Overall, he has won three Premier League titles, five FA Cups and four Community Shields with Arsenal. In addition he has guided the Gunners in to the Champions League for 17 straight years.
