Reports: Arsenal After Cavani

Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker, Edinson Cavani.

The Gunners are understood to offer Olivier Giroud plus €40 million in cash for the Uruguay forward.

PSG, meanwhile seem keen to let go of the player in order to balance their books and to use the money to renew their interest in Angel Di Maria.

Spanish media claim PSG have resurrected their interest in Di Maria after Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the players has handed in a transfer request.

Arsenal could also transfer £51 million for Cavani, without including Giroud into the deal, which would make him Arsene Wenger’s most expensive signing ever.

Manchester United are reportedly also interested in the PSG striker.
