Arsenal Hit Seven

Six goals in the second half saw Arsenal run out impressive 7-0 winners over an Indonesian Dream Team at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Sunday.

The Gunners kicked-off their preseason tour in fine fashion, although they had to wait till the second half of their match to shine.

In a rather dull first half we only witnessed one goal as Theo Walcott opened the scoring in the 19th minute.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain set up Arsenal's opener, striding into the area on the right-hand side before laying the ball back to Walcott to score.

The second half, however, saw arsenal run riot as they outplayed the Indonesian team in every area of the park, despite numerous disruptions because of a raft of second half substitutions.

The second 45 saw striker Chuba Akpom doubled the lead, before the more experienced Olivier Giroud, who scored two on the day, and Lukas Podolski got in on the act. Finally, two more youngsters - Kris Olsson and Thomas Eisfeld - rounded off the entertainment.

Arsenal now move on Hanoi to face Vietnam in their next friendly on Wednesday.
