Arsenal found their way into the UEFA Champions League group phase despite being down to ten man after beating Besiktas JK (of Turkey) 1-0 in their second leg play-off match.

Athletic Club beat Napoli (of Italy) 3-1 on the night for a 4-2 aggregate score.
Malmo FF beat Salzburg (of Austria) 3-0 on the night for a 4-2 aggregate score.
