The Paris Saint-Germain winger was furious to have been overlooked for Lionel Scaloni's previous squad selection, but has been recalled to the fold.
Defending himself from suggestions that his days in the side are over, Di Maria had claimed that Messi should then also be considered too old for the team, remarks that manager Scaloni did not seem to be too worried about.
Now, however, the 32-year-old appears to be back in the tactician's plans after being named in the team for their World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru over the next two weeks.
Juventus midfielder Paulo Dybala was also selected for Scaloni's latest squad, while Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has missed out due to the recent knock he picked up. PSG's Mauro Icardi is also unavailable.
