Argentina boss Jorge Sampaoli believes one of his national team players is tempted by the prospect of joining Real Madrid.
Real Linked With Last Minute €106m Move for Striker
Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi has been linked with a move away from the San Siro at the end of this season and is reportedly being monitored closely by Los Blancos.
Sampaoli, who just concluded a European tour, told members of the media that he spoke with Icardi during his time in Italy and revealed that the 24-year-old is considering a move to Spain.
"It's a great problem to have with so many great strikers for the national side, and all are enjoying a great moment,” the Argentine boss said, as quoted AS.
"I spoke to Icardi and told him what I told everyone: don't stop working hard and, if you're still playing well, you will be selected.
"Icardi is being observed by, and seems keen on, Real Madrid."
