Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, according to his agent.
The 34-year-old sees his contract expire in the summer, and speculation has suggest that the player was set to move on.
Lampard had previously said that he would love to stay at the club, but his agent has now stated that the England midfielder will not be at the European champions next term.
"At this moment, Lampard is exclusively thinking about the present, in other words Chelsea," Steve Kutner told cittaceleste.it.
"As for the future, the only certainty is that he will change team at the end of the season. Frank wants to pay for a great side, capable of challenging for important targets and where he could win more trophies.
"We won't rule anything out. The only thing that counts is that the player is happy and can continue playing at a high level."
He also would not rule out the possibility of Lampard going to Italy, adding: "As I said, a champion of Lampard's calibre deserves the biggest stage. Serie A? Why not? Only time will tell if Lazio could be the ideal destination."
