Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been in phenomenal form so far this season, but how does he fare among Africa's top 10 performers in Europe?

Guinea star Naby Keita is currently Africa's highest rated player, according to WhoScored. The Red Bull Leipzig midfielder has jumped from third to first place, with a rating of 7.94. The 22-year-old has scored one goal and assisted one further strike in the Bundesliga this season.

In second place is 26-year-old Napoli left back Faouzi Ghoulam, with a rating of 7.93. The Algerian defender has made four appearances in Serie A so far this season, scoring two goals and assisting a further three strikes.

Gabon and Dortmund striker Aubameyang has moved up the ranking and now finds himself in third position, with a rating of 7.72. The 28-year-old has scored eight goals in seven league appearances for his German club so far this season.

Marseille and Cameroon international Clinton N'Jie is in fourth place with a score of 7.69, while Senegal defender Salif Sane completes the top five with his rating of 7.61.

The rest of Africa's top 10 performers in Europe are Steve Mounie (rating: 7.45), Jean Michael Seri (rating: 7.42), Kalidou Koulibaly (rating: 7.34), Mohamed Salah (rating: 7.31) and Chancel Mbemba (rating: 7.30).
