AC Milan have confirmed that Mario Balotelli has said good-bye to his teammates and the club’s press staff.
A short statement on the Rossoneri’s website confirmed “Balotelli leaves Milanello” and is on his way to Liverpool.
Earlier reports suggested both clubs were close to agreeing to a £16 million for the 24-year-old.
Balotelli’s agent, Mino Raiola, is understood to be in Liverpool to negotiate terms with the Reds for his client, while the Italy forward was quoted today was his last day at Milan’s traning complex.

Balotelli scored 46 goals in 102 games for Milan since arriving from Manchester City for £16 million.
