With the season now in the business end, here are eight African stars who are set to become free agents at the end of their current campaigns, including two Mamelodi Sundowns stars and a Kaizer Chiefs legend.

Seven of the eight footballers mentioned will see their contracts come to an end in June, while one player, who is playing in China, will see his expire in December, when the Chinese Super League season ends, according to Transfermarkt.
Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure is arguably the highest profile player in this list. The midfielder has had minimal game time under manager Pep Guardiola and there seems to be no negotiations around a new contract at this point in time.
Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Khama Billiat and Denis Onyango also find themselves on the list, while Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs stalwart Siphiwe Tshabalala also make an appearance.
Hebei China Fortune winger Gervinho will see his contract come to an end at the end of the year, but there are rumours that he may consider one last stint in Europe if there are any suitors.
AC Milan's Hachim Mastour is also a free agent at the end of the season, according to Transfermarkt, as is Juventus defender Kwadwo Asamoah and Dynamo Kyiv's Dieumerci Mbokani.
