With most of the leagues around the globe set to be concluded soon, here are the top 12 signings made in the 2018/19 campaign, including the world's second-most expensive goalkeeper along with a former Premier League flop.

Eyebrows were raised when Jurgen Klopp made Alisson Becker the most expensive goalkeeper in the history of the game in July 2018 (later overtaken by Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga).
Liverpool bought the Brazilian from AS Roma for a fee of £65 million (R1.1 billion), and he has since repaid the faith shown in him by Klopp.
With the shot-stopper having been awarded the Golden Glove for his 21 clean sheets in his maiden EPL season at Anfield, it's easy to understand why predecessors Simon Mignolet and Lorius Karius are now a forgotten memory for Liverpool fans.
Alisson was not the only great signing ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, though.
Not many expected Borussia Dortmund to challenge for the Bundesliga title this season after the German side went through a squad overhaul and also changed coaches. However, following a few smart signings, Dortmund have rivalled Bayern Munich for the league crown this season and could still win it.
