Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea have been linked with three strikers who would probably never have been associated with the club if they still had Diego Costa in their ranks. According to the Daily Mirror, the Blues are monitoring West Ham United's Andy Carroll, Stoke City's Peter Crouch and Burnley's Ashley Barnes.

Now heavily linked with Arsenal, Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was linked with Chinese giants Guangzhou Evergrande earlier in the window. According to ESPN, the Asian club pulled out of the race for the African star because they did not want to get into a bidding war for the striker's service.

Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas has been linked with a move to the Premier League this month, according to The Sun. There are reports suggesting that the Spanish goalkeeper could join up with Rafael Benitez at Newcastle United. The club is trying to stay in the English top flight and apparently want experience in defence.
