At the summit of the list sits three-time Champions League winning shot-stopper Iker Casillas, who endured a trophy-laden sixteen-year career with Los Blancos.
Having played a total of 174 games and counting, the FC Porto man has made the most UEFA Champions League apperarances as far as goalkeepers go. In addition, he has also kept the most clean sheets in the competition's history, with 59 registered to date.
Casillas could sign a contract extension after the expiration of his current deal with Porto in June, which means the 37-year-old could to add to his tally, even in the case that Porto are getting knocked out by AS Roma in the current Round of 16.
Second on the table is Dutch legend Edwin van der Sar, who amassed a total of 50 clean sheets in the 98 games, featuring for the Ajax Amsterdam, Juventus and Manchester United.
Buffon, who has never won the Champions League title in his career, occupies third spot on the podium and could well go on to threaten Casillas' record. The 41-year-old shocked many with his decision to put an end to his 17-year stay with Juventus when he joined PSG in July 2018.
