On Monday evening, it was confirmed that former Cameroon international and FC Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o, who recently ended his brief spell with Konyaspor in Turkey, has found a new club.
The 37-year-old striker, who has also played for the likes of Chelsea and Inter Milan, will join Qatari club Qatar Sports Club on a free transfer.
The African's new club announced the move via their Twitter official account on Monday night, revealing that the forward will be unveiled on Tuesday.
Qatar SC will be the Cameroonian's 13th professional club of his career, and he will be joining former teammates Xavi Hernandez and Wesley Sneijder in the Arab league.
The African star is the latest big name to join Qatar's domestic league as the country gears up to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Eto'o is his country's all-time leading goalscorer and a three-time UEFA Champions League winner, two-time Africa Cup of Nations champion, and four-time African Player of the Year.
