Reports: Paris Saint-Germain Agree Deal For Real Madrid Target

By Keegan Kruger - Aug 28, 2017 11:07 AM @KeeganKruger

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly reached an agreement to sign a French starlet which has been linked with Real Madrid throughout this transfer window.

Reports: PSG Agree R2.1bn Deal For French Wonderkid

According to French publication L'Equipe, PSG are set to announce the signing of Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe on a season long loan before making a move permanent.

In order not to break UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules, the Ligue 1 giants have been in talks with their rivals as well as Europe’s footballing governing body all week.

Both clubs are in agreement that the transfer will go through next summer, with PSG set to pay an initial fee of around €180 million (R2.8 billion) for the France international.

That price-tag would make Mbappe the second most expensive player in football behind Neymar, who joined PSG from Barcelona for €222 million (R3.45 billion) earlier this month.

The report claims that the player has agreed to a five-year deal with French side and is ready to have a medical in the capital on Monday.

7 Players Real Could Buy Before The Window Closes

Mbappe, who was left out of Monaco's squad this week, made 44 appearances for Monaco last season and scored 26 goals, assisting in a further 14 in all competitions.

Do think the signing of Mbappe will take PSG to the next level? Have your say in the comments section below.

It's a risk spending so much on a player who's only performed well for 6 months.

Psg management is not wise enough to run a football team, they waste the money unnecessarily
