Reports: Manchester City Make Cash Plus Player Bid For Alexis Sanchez
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have reportedly made a player plus cash offer for Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez.
According to English publication the Daily Mirror, the Citizens have packaged an incredible deal that will see them offer a sum of money along with Raheem Sterling for the Chile international.
The 2016/17 FA Cup winners have offered the 28-year-old a new deal, but he is yet to put pen to paper for no apparent reason.
Arsenal have claimed throughout the transfer window that Sanchez will not be sold for any price, even though he is now in the final year of his contract.
The report suggested that City are trying to test the Gunners' resolve with a cash plus player offer because they feel that this might be the only way the Emirates side will be willing to sell their prized asset.
Arsenal are said to be willing letting Sanchez go for fee in the region of £70 million (R1.18 billion), according to the Daily Mirror, an amount that City are reportedly not willing to pay for a player in the final year of his contract.
The latest in this saga is that the attacker, who is on international duty with Chile, has reportedly asked to leave his national team's camp for 24 hours, although it is unknown why.
