Reports: Manchester City Make Cash Plus Player Bid For Alexis Sanchez

By Keegan Kruger - Aug 29, 2017 11:58 AM @KeeganKruger

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have reportedly made a player plus cash offer for Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez.

Reports: Chelsea Agree Deal For Wantaway Arsenal Star

According to English publication the Daily Mirror, the Citizens have packaged an incredible deal that will see them offer a sum of money along with Raheem Sterling for the Chile international.

The 2016/17 FA Cup winners have offered the 28-year-old a new deal, but he is yet to put pen to paper for no apparent reason.

Arsenal have claimed throughout the transfer window that Sanchez will not be sold for any price, even though he is now in the final year of his contract.

The report suggested that City are trying to test the Gunners' resolve with a cash plus player offer because they feel that this might be the only way the Emirates side will be willing to sell their prized asset.

Arsenal are said to be willing letting Sanchez go for fee in the region of £70 million (R1.18 billion), according to the Daily Mirror, an amount that City are reportedly not willing to pay for a player in the final year of his contract.

Salah Joins Two Africans In The EPL Team Of The Week

The latest in this saga is that the attacker, who is on international duty with Chile, has reportedly asked to leave his national team's camp for 24 hours, although it is unknown why.

Should the Gunners accept the Citizens' bid? Have your say in the comments section below.

i thought we building a team with young stars the team that will play 4 or 5 seasons so don't let sterling go he can fight for his place we have 4 cups to play and we will have injuries so the more quality players the better the team give them 70million and get sanchez

Big decision to make. Take the offer or stand to lose him for free, only have 3 days to decide and Alexis doesn't make it easy for Arsenal for refusing to extend. What makes this move difficult is City are a PL club, if it was other team Arsenal would have sold by now, reason they've been trying to move him to PSG, Bayern and Real.

If Sanchez decides to leave for the noisy neighbors definitely Sterling wont have enough game time so it would be a win win situation for him since Ox would be gone as well.

Arsenal should just let him go,no point of keeping someone who doesn't want to be kept
