Reports: FC Barcelona Still Want To Sign Two Stars, Despite Landing Ousmane Dembele
Despite confirming the arrival of Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund on Friday, FC Barcelona are reportedly still looking to sign two more stars.
Various media houses in Spain claim that the Catalan giants not done spending even though they have forked over €105 million (R1.63 billion) on 20-year-old France international.
According to Marca, Blaugrana have not ended their pursuit for Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho and former Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria.
Up until now, the Reds have stood firm regarding the sale of their Brazilian international, who they do not want to sell not matter the price.
The Spanish club has seen their three bids for Coutinho rejected already, but they are willing to test the Merseyside clubs resolve one more time before the transfer window closes.
Argentina international Angel Di Maria has reportedly dropped down the pecking order at Paris Saint-Germain since Neymar’s arrival, and there are claims that he could be sold to help balance the clubs books.
The Ligue 1 side are linked with Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe and should he arrive at the club then one would suggest that winger will be free to leave.
