According to the Sun, The Blues are planning a double swoop worth £50million for Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Everton's Ross Barkley.

The Sun claim Antonio Conte is target the England internationals as they look to increase their home-grown quota, as teams are only allowed 17 foreign players in the squad.

Chelsea are believed to be long-term admirers of Barkley, who will leave Everton in this transfer window, according to manger Ronald Koeman.

The Gunners midfielder meanwhile, has one year remaining on his current deal and has struggled to nail down a regular starting berth at the Emirates.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is in a similar situation to Barkley, as the Sun claim he has rejected Arsenal's latest contract offer.
