Reports suggest that Chelsea are poised to lose their star talisman to the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners at the end of the season.
Hazard is understood to have snubbed a new contract offer of £300 000 (R5.3 million) a week from the Blues, with Real reportedly having made the 28-year-old their primary transfer target after failing to lure him to the club in 2018.
According to the Daily Mail, Los Blancos are keen to negotiate a cash-plus-player deal for the attacker, and are prepared to offer either Mateo Kovacic – who is currently on loan at Stamford Bridge – Isco or Marco Asensio to make sure they get their man.
Hazard, who is contracted to Chelsea until 2020, has registered 31 appearances across all competitions for the Blues so far this season, netting 15 goals and assisting a further 10 strikes.
