Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly keen to offer a swap deal for a Manchester United player who performed above expectations this season.
With the Bianconeri having secured a ninth successive league title, they are now preparing for their UEFA Champions League clash with Olympique Lyon on Friday.
Meanwhile, defender Chris Smalling's loan with AS Roma is understood to have come to an end after the Serie A side and United could not agree to an extension, and with both teams still present in the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League campaign, they could potentially face each other soon.
Roma, though, remain keen to either extend his loan for another season or buy him outright, but no deal has been agreed thus far.

The Gialorossi have reportedly offered the Red Devils €14 million (R284 million) for the Englishman's services, while United are said to be holding out for €20 million (R405 million).
As a consequence, Juventus could swoop in, and are prepared to offer a swap deal that would see Federico Bernadeschi move to Manchester, according to Calciomercato.
With Smalling having impressed during his stint with Roma, the Bianconeri and Inter Milan are said to be interested in the centre-back.
For now, though, he is due back in Manchester this week, but the Red Devils are reportedly planning without him in mind for the upcoming season, and remain keen to sell him.
The 30-year-old made 37 appearances for Roma in the 2019/20 campaign, scoring three goals and assisting another two strikes.
