With ambitions of winning major trophies in Europe, the French side lured Brazilian Neymar to the club from FC Barcelona for a massive €222 million (R3.4 billion).
PSG are now said to be close to signing Mbappe on loan from Monaco, and ESPN believe he could go straight into the club's starting XI, playing in attack with Edinson Cavani and the aforementioned Neymar.
The publication feels the club's best midfield combination could be Thiago Motta in a more central role, with Adrien Rabiot to his left and Italian maestro Marco Verratti on his right-hand side.
Former Barca star Dani Alves is expected to be the team's first choice right back for most of the season, with his Brazilian teammates Marquinhos and Thiago Silva in central defence, and France international Layvin Kurzawa likely to be the French side's primary left back for the campaign.
Shot-stopper Alphonse Areola, who has started both of PSG's first four league games of the season, was the publication's choice for the goalkeeper slot, ahead of Kevin Trapp.
