Florentino Perez: Real Madrid Striker Has No Agreement With Manchester United
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has denied claims that a Los Blancos striker has agreed terms with Jose Mourinho's Manchester United.
Recent reports suggested that Alvaro Morata had agreed a move to the Red Devils, with some publications even claiming the newly-married Spaniard ended his honeymoon early in order to finalise his move to the English club.
However, Perez has seemingly put an end to the speculation, insisting that rumours Morata is close to a deal with United are false.
"I think we're not in negotiations with Manchester United, which is not to say that there are people around you who are talking, which is normal," he told esRadio.
"I have read that we have reached an agreement I do not know how many million times, but it isn't true."
Morata scored 20 goals and assisted a further six strikes in 43 games for Real last season.
