Now open, the 2017/18 transfer window is tipped to be a very busy one for many of Europe's elite clubs. Here are 10 deals that may happen over the next few months.

Tired of reading? Click through the gallery above to see which transfers English publication FourFourTwo expects to happen in this window.

First on the list is Netherlands and Southampton central defender Virgil van Dijk. The 25-year-old has been tipped to move in this window, but no one is sure where he will end up. Liverpool were initially the favourites to land the Dutchman, but many are now saying that Manchester City will land his signature.

Chelsea's Diego Costa is another Premier League player who is expected to be on the move in the coming months. There is lots of speculation surrounding a return to Atletico Madrid, but with their recent transfer ban, things have become complicated. The player wants to return to his former club, but is he willing miss out on six months of football to get the move he wants?

Portugal starlet Renato Sanches is believed to be interested in leaving Bayern Munich. The player is apparently desperate for some regular game time, and FourFourTwo believe he could be off to Monaco on loan. The French side is expecting to lose a few of their star players in the coming weeks, and Sanches could be good cover.

Italy international Matteo Darmian could be on his way out of Old Trafford if Juventus are willing to offer a good sum of money for him. The versatile defender had a rocky 2016/17 season under Jose Mourinho, and many believe he will be heading back to Serie A, to the Bianconeri specifically, if the club promises him a starting position.

Other players who could be on the move according to FourFourTwo are Stefan de Vrij, Joe Hart, Riyad Mahrez, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfried Bony and Daniel Sturridge.

Which of these players are you expecting to see move? Have your say in the comments section below.
