England & Germany Remain Perfect In World Cup Qualifiers

Romania 0-1 Germany

Germany maintained their winning start in Group J with a slender victory away to Romania on Sunday night.

The Germans opened the scoring on 16 minutes as a well-worked move ended with Serge Gnabry turning home Kai Havertz's cross.

Bulgaria 0-2 Italy

Italy claimed back-to-back wins in Group C after defeating Bulgaria 2-0 on Sunday evening.

The Azzurri broke the deadlock three minutes before the break, with Andrea Belotti converting a penalty while Manuel Locatelli sealed the win on 82 minutes.

Kosovo 0-3 Sweden

Sweden moved top of Group B with a 3-0 success over Kosovo on Sunday evening.

The Swedes raced into a 2-0 lead in the first half thanks to strikes from Ludwig Augustinsson and Alexander Isak, before Sebastian Larsson got the third goal from the penalty spot.

Poland 3-0 Andorra

After playing to a 3-3 draw during the week, Robert Lewandowski broke the deadlock for Poland in the 30th minute.

Lewandoski completed his brace on 55 minutes before Karol Swiderski bagged the hosts' third goal.

Albania 0-2 England

England maintained their winning start in Group I with a 2-0 win away to Albania on Sunday evening.

Harry Kane opened the scoring for the Three Lions on 38 minutes, with the returning Luke Shaw picking up the assist.

Kane then turned provider to pick out Mason Mount who calmly slotted home from close range in the 63rd minute to seal the win.

Georgia 1-2 Spain

Spain rallied from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Georgia in Group B on Sunday evening.

The visitors fell behind two minutes before the break courtesy of a strike from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Ferran Torres started the comeback by equalising in the 56th minute, while Daniel Olmo netted the winning goal in the second minute of time added on.

Denmark 8-0 Moldova

The Danes showed no mercy in the first half after netting five goals, with Mikkel Damsgaard bagging a brace while Kasper Dolberg, Stryger Larsen and Jensen also netted.

Dolberg completed his brace shortly after the break to make it 6-0, before Robert Skov and Marcus Ingvartsen wrapped the win in the final 10 minutes.

Armenia 2-0 Iceland

Iceland had a day to forget after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Armenia on Sunday evening.

Second-half goals from Tigran Baseghyan and Khoren Bayramyan handed Armenia their second win in Group J.
