Despite the recent arrival of Denmark international Martin Braithwaite at the club, FC Barcelona reportedly remain in the market for a new forward and have now committed all of their resources towards the signing of Ferran Torres.
That is according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo who claim that the club is in "permanent contact" with the 20-year-old Valencia winger, who is widely regarded as one of Spain's most promising players.
According to the reports, Torres shares the same agent as Las Palmas' 17-year-old midfielder Pedri, who has already agreed terms to join the reigning LaLiga champions ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.

His contract at the Mestalla Stadium expires in 2021 and he has reportedly turned down offers of renewal, which has left Barcelona confident of signing the Spain youth international for a figure of around €35 million (R604 million).
The Foios-born wideman became Valencia's youngest-ever UEFA Champions League goalscorer in September last year and has played a hand in 18 goals (eight goals and 10 assists) in 87 appearances for the club across all competitions.
