Paris Saint-Germain boss Maurico Pochettino, who was linked with a potential move to FC Barcelona before joining the Ligue 1 giants, has now revealed why he would never take a job with the Blaugrana.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager replaced Thomas Tuchel in PSG's hot seat early in January, but rumours of his potential arrival at the Camp Nou had gone into overdrive prior to Ronald Koeman's appointment at Barca.
However, Pochettino has history with one of the Blaugrana's rivals Espanyol, and has once more confirmed that he has no intention of ever joining Barca in the future.
"For me, it would be impossible because my name, my face, are linked to Espanyol de Barcelona," Pochettino said, according to PSG Talk.
"I believe it is. We have an identity that belongs to us. And with this feeling of belonging to a part of the city, I believe that it would be impossible to work at FC Barcelona."
The Argentine was also quizzed about potentially working for one of PSG's rivals, Marseille, in the future, and he had the same answer, saying it would be "impossible" for him to move to the club.
