Olympique Lyon have provided an update on the future of their star forward, who has been on FC Barcelona's wanted list since the previous transfer window.
Fresh rumours have surfaced suggesting that the Catalan giants are keen to reignite their interest in Memphis Depay in January.
The Dutch forward has regained his form in France after struggling to produce his best at Manchester United under Louis van Gaal, and according to Lyon adviser Gerard Houllier, a move to Barca could once again be on the cards.
"We will do everything we can to keep him, but it's very possible that... it's football and we'll see," he said, according to Telefoot.
"If his performances are like they were before the injury, it's likely other clubs will come in, but I think that Barca appreciate him a lot.
"Depay is happy in Lyon, but (Eric) Abidal was too and he went to Barca."
The Blaugrana will be without rising star Ansu Fati for the next four months due to a knee injury, so they could be desperate for attacking reinforcements in the next transfer window.
