West Ham Frustrated, Spurs Advance In FA

Newport 2-1 Leeds United

Despite taking an early lead, Leeds finished the match with ten men and were kicked out of the FA Cup after losing 2-1 to Newport at Newport Stadium.

Gaetano Berardi gave Leeds the lead as early as the ninth minute, but two goals in the second half, an own goal from Conor Shaughnessy and an 89th minute strike from Shaun McCoulsky, saw Newport into the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Leeds ended the match with ten men after Saiz was shown a straight red card in the 91st minute.

Shrewsbury 0-0 West Ham

League One side Shrewsbury Town forced a replay against English Premier League side West Ham United after their third round FA Cup tie ended 0-0 at Greenhous Meadow Stadium.

Tottenham 3-0 Wimbledon

A brace from Harry Kane and strike from Jan Vertonghen handed Tottenham Hotspur a comfortable 3-0 win over Wimbledon in a FA Cup, third round match at Wembley Stadium.
