Spain Stroll To Victory Over Luxembourg

Euro 2016 Qualifiers
Result: Spain 4-0 Luxembourg
Date: 9 October 2015
Venue: Estadio Nuevo Municipal Las Gaunas
Spain claimed three points with a convincing 4-0 win over Luxembourg in the Euro 2016 qualifiers on Friday night.
The hosts were off to a good start with some attacking play which saw them hit the woodwork in the 23rd minute. Santi Cazorla tried his luck with a shot that rebounded off the crossbar before Morata's follow up strike missed narrowly.
However, Cazorla found the back of the net in the 42nd minute when he pounced on the loose ball after Pedro's initial shot, sending it home with an excellent finish.
Spain were well in control of proceedings in the 67th minute as they opened up a two-goal lead. A lapse in concentration from the visitors allowed Paco Alcácer to poke his attempt past the goalkeeper.
Alcácer added his second goal in the 80th minute when Jordi Alba's surge into the area resulted in the ball finding its way to Paco who had a simple finish from close range to seal the win.
The home side capped off their dominant win with a fourth goal in the last five minutes. Cazorla completed his brace with a strike from the edge of the area after good build-up play from Nolito.
