England Ease To Three Points In Lithuania

England continued their domination of Group E in the Euro 2016 qualifiers with a 3-0 win over Lithuania on Monday.
The first real chance of the game was created in the 10th minute when Harry Kane as he slipped into some space on the left before sending a shot that came close to the bottom corner.
In the 29th minute England took the lead. Ross Barkley produced some individual skill that saw him get past a couple of defenders before driving a shot into the back of the net via a deflection.
The Three Lions' advantage was doubled in the 35th minute. Some great interplay between Kane and Lallana resulted in the former letting loose a shot that came off the post and went in via Giedruis Arlauskis for an own goal.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain secured the victory for the away side in the 62nd minute. Walker marauded down the right flank and played it through for Oxlade-Chamberlain to fire home from close range.
Lithuania were on the front foot for spells in the last 10 minutes as they tried to improve the scoreline, but the visitors held on to their clean sheet.
