Portugal secured top spot in Group I after securing a 2-1 win over Serbia in their Euro 2016 Qualifier on Sunday evening.
The Portuguese opened the scoring after just five minutes when Luis Nani tapped home from close range, after Danny's effort had been saved.
The home side could have hit back in the 27th minute as Aleksander Kolarov picked out Zoran Tosic at the near post, however the winger flicked his effort wide of the mark.
Rui Patricio then came to Portugal's rescue in the 32nd minute, as he pulled off a fine save to keep out Tosic's stinging effort from close range.
Serbia squandered another chance in the 36th minute when Tosic played Dusan Tadic through on goal, however the Southampton midfielder blazed over the crossbar from close range.
Portugal nearly doubled their advantage just before the halftime break but Danny blasted wide from close range, after Miguel Veloso's effort had been saved.
Aleksandar Mitrovic should have leveled matters for Serbia in the 55th minute when he was teed up by Adem Llajic, but the Newcastle United striker failed to trouble Patricio from 12-yards out.
The home side's pressure paid off the in the 65th minute when an un-marked Tosic turned home Kolarov's on the edge of the box.
However, Portugal restored their lead in the 78th minute when Eliseu broke free down the left, before teeing up Joao Moutinho, who curled home a wonderful effort from 20-yards out.
Serbia also ended the game with 10 men, after Nemanja Matic was given his marching orders, after taking a swing at Andre Andre in the 80th minute.
